Play Therapy

Ages 3 years – 12 years

Working on the inside world to better connect with the outside world

Why Choose Play Therapy?

Play Therapy uses play as the communication tool between the child and their therapist. It is a form of childhood counselling that allows children to use play as an expression of their emotions and problem solve in a non confrontational mode of interaction. This allows children to change behaviours and understand themselves better. Play Therapy can assist with:

  • Life Transitions (Changing Schools, Divorce)

  • Aggressive Behaviours

  • Trauma

  • Accepting Diagnoses (Neurodiversity)

  • Bullying & Peer Relationships

  • Attachment Concerns

  • Worries and Fears

  • Low Self Esteem

  • Grief

  • Strengthening Family Connection
